The update below from brother William, our Moyale mission leader is absolutely amazing! In the face of death, they march on to preach the gospel of Jesus in Ethopia!

We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus. We give glory to the Lord for all that He has done this incredible month. Early this month, I and my brother Joshua had the privilege to go and preach in Ethiopia. We were given seven topics to chose from, one for each of us to preach. I chose Holiness: and Joshua the “True Church”. Holiness is a command of God. In the Bible, God commanded to His people; “Be holy, because I am holy”, therefore, Holiness is not an option. Holiness is to see God(Hebrews 12:14).

On the way, the second day of our travel while we were almost to reach Bishoftu, somebody called me and said you need to go back because the situation ahead of you is not good at all. I just kept quiet and pray thaat God would intercede. After thirty minutes from that time, we found danger! The bus stopped, people were killed and there was no way to go ahead only seeing fire that surrounded us. God put in my heart immediately Mark 10:28. I was encouraged by Lord to go ahead for His mission. Finally, we reached our veneu. We were given the opportunity to preach to the pastors in Addis ababa by the grace of God. We praise Jesus to have such a wonderful time to preach. Travelling back, we got into a very tough situation. No bus, people burning cars and houses and also killing one another. After we left Addis Ababa, we stayed on the way three days because of the chaos. All we do is to thank Jesus that after all we came back safe to Moyale, Kenya to preach more.

Therefore, I praise the Lord for that mission to Ethiopia, it was a challenging trip but such a great movement of the Holy Spirit. The GMFC team has counted the cost.

This month God also heard our cries for water and there is borehole drilling going on! We hope by end of this month we have clean water for the very first time in our life. Also,  by the will of God, we are going to start our church construction next month. Really, God is working in our daily program and there is the presence of the Holy Spirit. Many souls are coming to Christ.

We appreciate God for everything that He is doing here in Moyale and beyond. We also thank you a dear brother Jimmy and all GMFC donors for great work, may God bless you abundantly,. Your work for the Lord is not in vain.We are praying for you all.
